Condition : Excellent. There is one small indentation to the left of the female lock plate

An ornate tea caddy with concave sides and a slightly convex lid. decorated with Tunbridge Ware mosaic designs. The lid has a panel with an intricate rose mosaic design in the centre. framed by a geometrical mosaic band. To the side of the lid another mosaic band. this time of a floral nature. A much wider floral mosaic band inlaid on all four sides of the caddy. There is a brass lock fitting and the key is missing.
Inside the caddy. the two compartments each have a fitted rosewood lid with a small turned handle. The lids are both framed with a geometrical mosaic band surrounding a polished panel. The caddy stands on four turned rosewood bun feet. Both the internal lids and the caddy itself are in excellent condition.
