Additional Information : The well known ‘ostrich’ mark on WMF results from a German consonance between Straub. the name of a founder of WMF and ‘der Strauss’ an ostrich.
The ‘G’ in the mark stands for the town of Geislingen. on the River Fils and near Ulm in Baden-Württemburg.
