This has decorative attributes of many Kralik pieces and they also used metal mounts on bases and rims extensively.

Many thanks to Deco and Nouveau specialist dealer John Masters for correcting us on this. we had described this as being ‘secessionist’ . however according to John of the Design Gallery Westerham this is too curvilinear to be described as such. John states that this shoule be described as ‘continental nouveau’ and is closer to 1900 or earlier than te conservative 1910 stated.
