This is the finest WMF silvered claret just that we have offered for sale. The design with its organic handle and bathing beauties amidst sinuous waves is pure nouveau

This is marked on the underside of one foot WMF EP I/O. This is one of the earliest WMF marks used form 1880 to 1918. It denotes that this is elctroplated silver. The “ostrich” and beehive marks were not used until 1900.
