Marks : stamped to base ENGLISH PEWTER 0924 and a separate numeral 4
Decoration : Shallow round bowl on four feet, with a cast and pierced cage featuring a repeating, stylised floral design which is mirrored in the feet. Lined with a pale green glass bowl, likely by James Powell of Whitefriars, or Clutha.
Size :  17.4 cm diameter; 8.9 cm high
Condition : Excellent; one tiny burst bubble to the external surface of the glass bowl; a couple of tiny dents to the solid section of the pewter body and one hairline scratch to the base; minimal wear to the underside of the feet; the glass liner fits snuggly in the cage, the rim being flush with the edge.
