This was purchased by a client at McTears Glass and Ceramics auction in April 2021 , lot 1121. It was described as being "A late 18th century wine glass", we agree indeed this is very late. Holmegaard also used very similar colour glass to Stromberg.

We fully appreciate how online images can be misleading, some times intentionally so. Table top height images to exploit parallax errors, out of shot dark side panels to make glass appear darker and continuous use of highly reflective surfaces used for photographic bases to create additional height. This is before anyone deploys image manipulation.

We only use natural daylight lamps and a UV lamp for uranium glass. There are many with prettier images to our own, but they lack integrity.

This will be a good glass to use or to keep in a "rogues gallery"
