Description
An Edwardian Williamite engraved glass c1910 commemorating the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.
It has a conical bowl with annulated shoulder and basal knops. Conical foot with snapped pontil.
The bowl has been engraved with ‘THE GLOREOUS MEMORY OF KING WILLIAM’ with the king sitting on his horse and also “BOYNE 1st JULY 1690”.
Lead glass. no chips cracks or restoration. they measure 6 ¼ inches tall with 2 5/8 inch bowls and 2 ½ inch feet.
