This is a faithful copy of a Georgian glass rummer produced in the 1920s or 1930s. There were several producers who specialised in reviving 18th and early 19th century styles. Hill Ousten and the English Antique Glass Company being the two most well known copyists in the. Most other established companies produced ranges of glassware in earlier styles that were never intended to deceive. the same cannot be said of Mrs Elizabeth Graydon-Stannus whose forgeries are still deceiving many today.
This will be ideal for a very large G&T with ice and a slice or two.
