Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks; a very few tiny bubbles in the stem

Note : This very large glass is unmarked. but comparisons with the finer points of the design as used on other engraved glasses allow us to say with some certainty that it is a Royal Brierley piece.
The coronation of Edward VIII was planned for 12th May 1937 but following Edward’s abdication. his brother George VI was crowned on that same date instead.
