Description
A pair of Edwardian blue and white colour twist glasses. These were made at the Josephinehutte factory in Silesia. modern day Poland in around 1910. The bowls are hand blown and are lead glass. They include some small air bubbles and striations. One glass also has some small slag seeds. They have tulip shaped bowls typical of the period and stand an elegant 7 1/2 inches tall with 2 3/4 inch feet and 2 1/2 inch bowls. Roughn snapped pontils. The twist features four cobalt blue spiral tapes surrounded by an 8-ply spiral band.
