Description
An exceptional Edwardian glass goblet c1910 with a round funnel bowl. It has cut stylised rose set within a half-moon cartouche and an engraved fruit tree set between swags of foliage suspended from a band of printie cuts. The elegant stem has cushion knops between a baluster. ball and inverted baluster knops. A fern engraved foot to complete the composition.This form is clearly a homage to 17th and early 18th cen Bohemian glass with multiple knops and fine engraving on tall goblets.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 9 ½ inches tall with a 3 1/4 inch bowl and 3 ¾ inch foot.
