Additional Information :
All things 18th century were frowned upon by the innovative Victorians. It was not until the early 20th century that Georgian style and form became more widely appreciated. It is always a good idea to study later examples in the earlier style especially opaque twists where many copies were made and are now readily sold as 18th by inexperienced sellers. This glass is over 100 years old and an antique in its own right but not 18th century. These are known as cotton twists in North Ametrica and we do have numerous 18th century examples for sale.
