Additional Information : Vintage design and part of a large suite of Webb Crystal in the same pattern. Two sets of six available. Shepherd and Webb was founded in the 1830s by John Webb. a farmer and John Shepherd an experienced glassman. The farmers son Thomas took over the business and turned it into one of the most highly regarded producers in the world. In 1930 the business was merged with Richardsons but the name continued to be used. It is interesting to note that King George VI was the last emperor of India. it was only one lifetime ago. how times change.
