Additional Information : Josef Svarc Czech glass designer born in 1928. His style deploys mostly natural motifs. primarily for engraved vases and decorative accessories. He was exhibited at the Expo 58 in Brussels. Expo 67 in Montreal. Triennale. Milan. as well as Berlin. London. Paris and Prague winning numerous prizes for his distinctive style. This is one of several designs by Svarc deployed on glass dishes and plates. The vast majority feature engraved thistles.
