Two Engraved 20th Century Rummers

Heading : Commemorative drinking glasses  
Date : 1974 and 1983
Origin : England and Portugal
Colour : Clear
Bowl : Bucket bowls. The first glass
depicts Kendal House Bowling Fell. The other shows the Sandringham estate in Norfolk dates 1974 and The Queen on her horse Cossack.
Stem : Knopped
Foot : One square base and one conical foot
Pontil : The first has a polished pontil engraved with Atlantis 81 Gulotta above AR Yates Kendal 83. The other is plain with Wedgewood England mark
Type : Lead
Size : The largst of the two measures 21.1cm tall with a 9.6cm bowl and a 7.8cm foot     
Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks
Restoration : None
Weight : 1857 grams combined

Additional Information : We have provided an image of the rather stunning Victorian house Bowling Fell which was designed by James Hutton and built for businessman Lawrence Airey in 1891. The marks on the base of this glass ar those of Atlantis Crystal a Portuguese based company who had an American designer within their ranks, a Mr Gerald Gulotta who specialized in functional designs in glass and porcelain
