This goblet commemorates the coronation of George VI following the abdication of his brother Edward. George's reign was defined by the Second World War and it's impact on the British Empire. The date of his coronation, 12th May 1937, had originally been intended to be the date of Edward's own coronation. This outstanding goblet is in pristine condition and would make a fine addition to any collection.
