Pontil : Polished. faded ‘Royal Brierley England’ mark
Type : Lead
Size : 9 6/16 inches tall with a 4 11/16 inch bowl and 4 3/8 inch foot
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks

Weight : 685 grams
Additional Information : The coin hallmarked by ‘Turner & Simpson. London. 1936’. The Royal Brierley England mark was acid etched in this style in the late 1930’s. The 12th May should have been the coronation of Edward VIII but Westmister was booked and the date remained unchanged despite the abdication in December 1936.
