SOLD – Unusual Bimini Rooster Wine Glass c1925

This is a superb example of a Bimini Wine Glass which dates to around 1925

The Bimini glass works were founded in Austria in 1923. by Fritz Lampl. They produced “lampwork” glass sculptures of figures. animals and vases. as well as sets of drinking glasses with matching decanters. Designs were created by Fritz Lampl himself. and his brother in law Joseph Berger.

It has a Cup Bowl with a very unusual Yellow & White Swirl design with a lamp work Rooster in a large knop under the bowl. The foot continuing the same Yellow swirl design. No chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 ¼ inches tall with a 2 ¾ inch bowl.
