The Pretender died in 1788 and one hundred and fifty years later his passing was still being commemorated. with carnations being laid as his tomb. This may well be a commemorative item. it is not a fake. it was never made to deceive.
This is an excellent size and with the capacity of two standard wine glasses. One for those who still wish to toast the “King over the water”. the romance lives on.
