Stem Features : Hollow knop contains a silver token hallmarked and dated 1935 with the figure heads depicting King George V & Queen Mary

Pontil : Polished with acid etched ‘T. Goode & Co. London 1935’

It has supplied monarchs from Queen Victoria to the Tsars of Russia and continues to do so today. When this was made fo the jubilee in 1935 nobody could have predicted the constitutional crisis that would arise following his death in 1936.
