Stem : Hollow with six applied raspberry prunts
Foot : Conical folded
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead 
Size :  12.5cm height,  5.4cm diameter bowl, 7.3cm diameter foot 
Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks. Some clinker trapped within the fold of the foot and fine inclusions within the glass
Restoration : None 
Weight:  164grams

The use of folded feet did enjoy a brief revival in the early 19th century as a result of changes made in the tax treatment of glass and it's raw materials. This is the 7th example that we have offered for sale. Intended for Hock a favourite tipple of the Hanoverian elite.
