Condition : Good; two indentations and some small dings to the side of the base; one part of the lattice-work to the top has been very slightly pushed in

A pomander was used to enclose anything than would introduce a pleasant perfume into an enclosed space. Many were portable and used in cars and carriages when passing through the foetid stench of Edinburgh and environs.
