Heading :A very fine silver plate cruet set by Richard Richardson
Date : Marked R. Richardson Cornwall Works Sheffield. This mark was used between 1873 and 1883 until the business was relocated.

Origin : Sheffield. Yorkshire. England
Decoration : Banded frame with lop handle. Simple beaded decoration
Size :  Height 24cms . base 16cms x 12cm between the feet
Condition : Exemplary. the glass is all clean and clear. no wear in the plate

Founded in 1796 Richardsons was one of the leading producers of Sheffield plate. The were held in such high regard that they maintained their own showroom in Hatton Garden London.
