Additional Information :  There are manufacturers marks on the base for Manufacture de L’Alfenide. better known as Christofle. The marks are a cockerel within a shield and GALLIA METAL together with the quality hallmark. The strong similarities between these marks and those of WMF is not a coincidence. WMF copied the Alfenide marks.
