The terminal is engraved Philip De Ste Croix 14th June 1832. We have found that Philip Se Ste Croix was baptised on the 17th June 1832 in St Helier. This our best giess is that this spoon was a present for his coming of age in 1853.

The De Ste Croix family have a fantastic history, privateering, piracy. This will be worth relating in detail.
