Decoration : The thumb piece has two silver acorn apples. Double C-scroll handle. Acanthus leaf decoration above three applied ball feet.
Size : Height 18cm. diameter 12.6cm (not including handle).
Condition : Excellent. other than a very small compression on the lid. barely visible.

Weight : 681 grams (approx 21.8 troy)
This fine tankard has a capacity of a yard of ale . two and a half pints. Most people are familiar with yard glasses. but a yard is a measure of volume. This is not a peg tankard. it does not have pegs within the interior. You may down a pint of two but not take anyone down a peg or two.
