Condition : Very good. Some light signs of use. no dings. Pours very well

This form of teapot was based on the Chinese wine pot but evolved into it’s own European style. The squat oval shape and wide base of the spout is entirely classical and resembled Roman oil lamps. this was the height of fashion in the early nineteenth century.
