Eric Knowles Comments: The dedication engraved upon this is most thought provoking. It comes from a time when a bank manager was clearly a respected member of the community. much admired and appreciated by his customers. Contrast this with nameless or faceless telephonists and modern electronic banking. Im a great admirer of Dave Fishwick who has put community first with his Bank of Dave. Im sure we all wish that there more like him. a face and not just a computer to relate with.
