Decoration : Of squat globular form with original turned fruit wood swing handle and disc finial. The domed terraced cover is fully marked. Panel moulded serpentine spout. The three feet attached to both the main kettle and the burner with scrolled legs. The kettle is attached to the frame by two pins. if the back pin is removed. the front pin acts as a hinge the use of which allows for pouring without removing the kettle from the frame.

Condition : Excellent. only light scattered surface scratches. The marks to the main body are rather worn as they have been. inexplicably. struck directly above the burner. The marks to the cover and the burner are clear. There is a stable split in the handle.
Restoration : Professionaly polished.
Weight : 2232 grams (approx 71.5 troy) – please note that this is the higher grade Britannia silver (.958) and not sterling (.925).
