Date : Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1850 for Hilliard and Thomason – date letter slightly rubbed but can be seen under a loop
Period : Victoria 
Origin : Spencer street. Birmingham. England
Decoration : Stylised vine design. the handle has naturalistic vine leaf design and the spoon itself has repoussé vine leaves and grapes 
Size :  13×3.5cm

Hilliard and Thomason were internationally renowned for their exquisite small intricately decorated items. They were invited to exhibit at the Great Exhibition in 1851.
