Decoration : Heavily chased gothic revival decoration. Each piece with panels with elaborate stylised decoration featuring cartouches with fruit and each piece with one panel having a cartouche containing dedication “MC to MPG”. Each with elaborate feet featuring acanthus leaf scrolling and floral decoration. Parcel gilt interior. Along with sugar tongs from 1857.
Size : Coffee pot: 24.3cm height, 23cm handle to spout. Teapot: 17.7cm height, 23.5cm handle to spout. Cream jug: 15cm height, 11.5cm handle to spout.
