This rare advertising Champagne knife was produced in Paris at the height of the Belle Epoque when Champagne flowed freely and the people of France were free to express themselves artistically, academically and culturally.
The heavy curved blade was designed to cut the foil and wax from a bottle, then when not in use is folds back into the bone mounted handles. Still usable today this knife is an absolute must for the wine antique collector.
