If you are in any doubt as to why most of the Habsburgs had prominent chins and aristocratic noses then we may use Ferdinand III as one exemplar. Both his first and second wives were first cousins. His father Ferdinand II had married his own niece. Yes your mum can also be your cousin!
The coin is a makeweight replica. We do not know any reason why this wass embedded in the base other than to give balance. This was very well made and is an excellent gauge of silver and generous bowl.
