Date : The coin is dated 1758. It can only have been made after 1760

Decoration : Floral repousse work and embedded coin in the bowl to ‘make weight’ embedded in the base. Twisted baleen handle with silver tip
Size :  Length 37cms
Condition : Excellent

Weight :  51 grams

These remain the perfect way to flame a Christmas pudding. the bowl is more than generous enough and at arms length the brandy can be controlled and thus eyebrows retained.
