Pattern : The 1755 Chelsea sale catalogue lists these as “Octagon Old Japan”
Condition : A 5cm hairline crack in the tea bowl. There is a 4mm x3mm stain on the saucer where the glaze has missed. There are three fine glaze cracks in the saucer
Restoration : The crack in the tea bowl has been professionally cleaned
Dimensions : Saucer 12.5cms across. the teabowl 6.5cms wide
Weight : 191grams
