Colour : Green and gilt 'feather edged' moulding to the rim; polychrome enamels of extravagant birds and insects to the cavetto and well

Condition : Good; some gilt loss; enamels are bright and largely intact; some wear commensurate with age; there is an area of densely packed crazing to the glaze over an area covering 25% of the plate's lip, visible on both sides - moreso to the the top - with light staining to both sides; there are also some small glaze-filled indentations to the base of the well, and a 4mm burst bubble in the body - glaze-free - which has been cleverly incorporated as the body of one of the decorative insects; to the underside - a small area of kiln-spit inside the foot-rim, two small bubbles in the same area, and a further area of kiln-spit to the lower edge of the rim.
