Description

The body of this finely fluted trio is very much in the Sèvres style favoured by the factory under the tenure of Mr Flight. however the famille rose decoration harks back to the Chinese patterns of previous decades. The blue border is classical. This is often described as “Compagnie Des Indes”. This is a rare combination of famille rose with flutes. this is most frequently found on plain shapes.  There is wear to the gilding on the rim of the saucer. else no chips. cracks or restoration. Cup 1 7/8th tall 3 1/4 inches diameter. Coffee can 2 1/2 tall 21/2 diameter. Saucer 5 1/2 inches diameter. All pieces with crescent mark
