The style reflects the neo-classical tastes of the 1780s and the fluting has been influenced by the cannelé style from Sèvres. The high quality of the gilding means that these pieces are likely to have been expensive when they were manufactured. These pieces formed part of the Zorensky collection and carry the Zorensky label.
