Pattern : Unnamed; floral sprays with detail as below; bears many features of Giles’ work notably the dots in decreasing size to the fluted handle and the simple ‘six-dot’ flowers
Features: Notable features are the gilt and iron-red internal border of two twisted lines within black key-lines. and a puce line around the edge of the rim; there is also a small polychrome leaf to the base to hide a bubbled imperfection in the body; beneath the border. internally. there are three polychrome floral sprays and an undulating iron-red and gilt garland – extraordinarily intricate decoration
Condition : Superb; typical Worcester glaze-shrinkage within the foot-string. and the bubble which prompted the leafy cover-up on the base can be seen internally
