Features: Depicts stylised oriental type flowers in an imari palette. Gilt detailing.
Condition : Excellent. some minor enamel chips to the floral finial as expected. small chip to the underside flange of the cover. and a small (2mm) firing crack to the rim of the bowl. None of this detracts from the presentation of this piece.

This sucrier shows of the Kempthorne pattern at it’s resplendent best. The underglaze blue branches contrasted with the overglaze leaves and flower-heads lend real depth to this piece. and the gilding. which is still in fantastic condition. enhances this effect.
