Description
A rare first period Worcester dessert plate of silver shape. naively painted outside the factory with three panels of buildings and a windmill in orange monochrome reserved on a blue scale ground. This type of decoration has traditionally been attributed to the Giles studio. however. it is more likely to be the work of another. as yet unknown. outside decorator for export to the Dutch market.
