Heading : First period Worcester leaf dish
Date : c1765-70
Period : George III
Origin : England
Colour :
Blue and white
Pattern : 'The leaf dish floral sprays'
Features : Twig handle
Saucer Size : 23cm in length (the larger of the two sizes produced)
Condition : Excellent, no chips
Restoration : A crack that runs between the terminals of the handle has been professionally and beautifully retsored as shown. This can only be detected from the reverse. The display side has been colour filled.
Weight : 409 grams

Additional Information : There are differences between the larger to the smaller examples vis-a-vis the position of sprays, they are however identical in form. This has lead some to make erroneous assumptions that they are different patterns. This is of course not the case. The quality of the restoration is remarkable
