Eric Knowles Comments : The ubiquitous ‘Fisherman’ Pattern was originally known as the Pleasure Boat pattern. abbreviated to P Boat in correspondence between the Worcester and Caughley manufactories. both of whom produced very similar versions; see Geoffrey Godden’s tome Caughley and Worcester Porcelain (1969) with regard to how it is possible to differentiate between the two very similar versions
