Marks : Mock Chinese characters in underglaze blue. The saucer carries a stylised ‘5’ and the tea bowl a ‘stylised 6’

Features : Gilt band detailing. the saucer has an inner gilded spray
Size : Tea Bowl : 1 5/8 inches tall by 3 1/8 inches in diameter Saucer : 1 1/8 inches tall by 4 7/8 inches in diameter
Condition : Excellent. minor gilt rub

These marks were formally attributed to Caughley but are Worcester marks. This pattern is similar to that of Caughleys ‘Pagoda’ and ‘Temple’
