Pattern : Gilt finish to edge of lip and rim with intricate swags and hatching to ‘handle’; central flower composition to base of well. surrounded by eight small sprigs; likely to have been executed by William Billingsley
Features : Lobed rim with moulded ribs running over a circumferential ogee curve around the lip; small. moulded. solid. handle extending from the rim for 25% of its extent
Condition : excellent; very little gilt wear; enamels are bright and clear with very few scratches; one or two minimal underglaze inclusions to the bowl; some very fine kiln-spit to the underside along with an area of very tiny burst glaze bubbles
