SOLD – Flight Barr and Barr Worcester Plate c1815

Description

A stunning plate decorated with a continuous band of apple blossom. Gilded rim and gilded central band of delicate pendants.

Impressed FBB mark below crown and printed “Prince Regent” backstamp. The name Flight Barr and Barr was used from 1813 and the Prince Regeny became King George 1V in early 1820.

The plate is 20.5 cms diameter. Some limited wear to the gilding but no chips or cracks or restoration. Stunning painting.
