Description
This part New Hall tea service has six cups and saucers. a milk jug and teapot. The pattern is known on New Hall hard paste but this is bone china and is later. probably 1820. we are sure the new hall officianados will advise in due course. Painted in overglaze enamels. this was one of a number similar Chinese influenced designs with round headed gentlemen. pattern 20 springs to mind. Minton also produced a variation of the same pattern the boy holding a caterpillar and various insects. The butterfly has more charm.
The condition is excellent overall. one saucer has a small star crack on the rim. Please be advised that we will not break this up into it’s constituents to be sold off piecemeal despite the commercial advantages. This needs to be used and loved.
