SOLD – Spode pattern 868 cup and saucer c1815

Description

A cup and saucer from the Spode factory c1815. Both cup and saucer bear the pattern number.

This is richly decorated with panels of flowers and foliage in the oriental manner. The gilding is in excellent condition overall with very little or no wear and there are no chips of cracks.

The cups are bute shaped with kinked loop handles that are gilded to the upper surface.
