Features: Bute shaped teacup, hand painted with a floral pattern and highlighted with gilding.
SizeTeacup: 6.0cm tall by 8.7cm. Saucer: 14.2cm in diameter
Condition: Very minor wear to the gilding from use as shown.
Restoration: None
Weight: 231 grams

 

The handles are a typical Spode loop form. Michael Berthold dates the pattern 1805-1806 and this is entirely consistent with the form and vibrant polychrome regency decoration
