Colour : Polychrome overglaze enamels and gilt
Pattern : Floral sprays and a gilt foliate/floral band; dentile gilding over the lip with a pineapple and bubble band to the inside of the cup; further floral spray to the base of the well; gilding to the handle and a ring around the foot string
Features: kidney-shaped handle with distinctive different-sized lobes; a deep. internally canted foot-string; the saucer has a gently-domed. unglazed base
Condition : a small underglaze inclusion to the bottom of the saucer’s cavetto; faint scorching to the outside of the cup’s bowl ; minor gilt loss to both pieces and on te rim of the saucer
